These were the only indications of time, the only readings on the face of the clock. Of course there was no clock, and there was no time. But these two events were noted each day with importance.

So tonight I'm back in Sactown and starting tomorrow I'll be rising with the clock, instead of the crows. But I have a feeling that the crows are now a part of me and resurrected a different concept of days' beginnings and endings. So if you see me, I may look the same, but don't be surprised if I suddenly "caw."
