Friday at the ROSICRUCIAN EGYPTIAN MUSEUM

Friday caught The Crew on a MADDOG ROADTRIP! This time to San Jose. Why did we choose San Jose?
A. because we wanted to be in time for the next earthquake (Last earthquake 5.6 hit on Oct. 30, 2007--just 3 days ago www.mercurynews.com/ci_7325191)
B. Jude used to live in San Jose & she wanted to see if her memories were any better than San Diego (they weren't -- she doesn't remember San Jose either, so all of her memories are new ones. Is this getting to be a habit or what?)
C. a Reptile Show
OK, so that wasn't a hard test. Life isn't meant to be hard anyway, what can we say.
Since the reptile show didn't start until Saturday & we were there a day early, Croc saw it as a time to play, so we went to the Egyptian Museum.

Jude at the entrance with some hippo god that's supposed to be nice to women and babies.

What would an Egyptian Musuem be without a .........MUMMY?
......or two!
Just for the record, Jude insists on being cremated. Then Ben is going to take a post hole digger and make a trip up Logan Canyon, where he will dig a hole and pour her in. She wants her body to become a part of the earth and not be sealed in a leaden box.

The smaller glass bottles in the center were used to catch the tears ofof a deceased's loved one. When the bottle was full, it was sealed and placed inside the tomb. (No crying for Jude. She'd rather Ben & who ever else wants to help dig the hole, will take a little hike & have a picnic before pouring her in.)
